Our Greenwich Guide

Coffee & Matcha

CFCF Coffee | Bradley’s go-to order is a sophisticated blend of premium beans, hand-selected ice cubes, and locally sourced Greenwich tap water. In other words, black iced coffee.

Maman | Start your morning with Ariel’s favorite ceremonial-grade matcha and an irresistible chocolate chip cookie.

Le Pain Quotidian | Pair your beverage with a Belgian waffle—or follow the expert advice of Bradley’s mom Valerie, whose passion for LPQ’s avocado toast may very well surpass her excitement for this wedding.

Breakfast

Versailles | Indulge in a traditional French breakfast and channel the romance of Ariel and Bradley’s dreamy 2024 summer in Paris, where Bradley’s dad Jeff made a très chic third wheel.

The Granola Bar | Embrace Ariel’s California roots with a granola bowl or yogurt parfait. Close your eyes, sip your berry chia smoothie, and briefly imagine you’re at Erewhon.

Putnam | If Blue Hill at Stone Barns had been booked, Bradley and Ariel would’ve gladly celebrated their wedding here. Order an omelette—or anything else suitably egg-centric. And for the wandering LA crowd searching for Nate 'n Al’s, trust us: this is as close as Greenwich gets.

Glory Days Diner | A diner that lives up to its name, especially when you try Ariel and Bradley’s legendary pancake combo: half chocolate chip, half blueberry. Suspend disbelief; trust the process.

Lunch

Meli Melo | The most extensive soup menu we've found in Greenwich, alongside delicious crepes, sandwiches, and salads. Think of it as Greenwich's answer to Urth Caffe. LA friends, rejoice.

Grigg Street Pizza | It’s not quite New Haven pizza or Smokey Joe’s in Philly, but it certainly holds its own. Enjoy the sourdough pizza, crafted by the same culinary masterminds who perfected Bradley’s beloved breakfast sandwich at Corbo’s during his high school prime.

Harvest Wine Bar | Added to the list for the Yale crowd—you know the drill. Order the Brussels sprouts salad and a pasta, and for a moment, you’ll feel like Bradley at Kappa Alpha Theta’s Winter Formal in 2021. A gentle reminder that he graduated in 2018, making this a truly bold and questionably appropriate cameo.

Aux Delices | A paradise of prepared foods with every sandwich and salad you could possibly crave. Perfect for a quick, no-fuss bite, but if you’re feeling indulgent, do yourself a favor and get the chocolate cake. It’s worth every bite.

Dinner

Mediterraneo | Ariel and Bradley’s most frequented dining spot, second only to the contents of Bradley’s parents’ fridge. Their favorites? The roasted rainbow carrots, the pizzas, the mussels, the spaghetti and meatballs, the salmon, and the wood oven-roasted Amish farm chicken. Too many recommendations? Sorry, we eat here a lot. In fact, Bradley singlehandedly carried this restaurant through COVID. Honestly, just skip the decision fatigue and go here for dinner. Satisfaction guaranteed.

L’Escale | The chicken paillard is unmatched, and the crème brûlée is the perfect finale. As a bonus, Ariel and Bradley are staying at this hotel, so consider this your unofficial invitation to crash our mini staycation.

Polpo | Hands down, our favorite Italian spot. We had to include an Italian restaurant as a tribute to Ariel and Bradley’s two legendary trips to Italy, where they made the necessary decision to order a second round of lasagna for dessert. For Ariel’s dad, Raffi, no city is complete without a great Italian restaurant. Since Il Pastaio and La Scala didn’t make the trip east, Polpo steps up flawlessly. Everything on the menu is perfect, so follow Ariel and Bradley’s lead: order everything.

Hinoki | Come for the yellowtail jalapeño, salmon pizza, and crispy rice. Stay for the sushi rolls… and the inevitable realization that you need just one more.

Things to Do Between Meals

Walk Tod’s Point | Think of it as Greenwich’s answer to Santa Monica Beach—if you squint a little. Either way, it’s a stunning waterfront walk and a perfect loop.

Walk Greenwich Ave | Every store you could possibly need, all in one charming stretch. With a James Perse straight out of Malibu, who even needs the city?

Greenwich Farmer’s Market (Saturday 9:30-1) | Nothing beats a great farmer’s market. Stock up on seasonal ingredients and daydream about cooking a homemade feast—just like Ariel and Bradley do every night. Fine, so far, it’s been more of a theoretical hobby… but give them time!

The Bruce Museum | With this and the farmer’s market, Ariel’s mom Lauren could curate an entire weekend of culture, fresh produce, and pure joy.
